Please... look at me... informally.

If you are under the impression you have already perfected yourself, you will never rise to the heights you are no doubt capable of.

What do you do when you fall in love? I know, it is quite intimate question. But you tear off and throw away all your fetters and strings which keep you in your casual life, don't you? If you agree, or even not, The Remains of The Day (1993) is the movie for you. Everyone should watch it. Every human being needs it.

Work. Work. Love? Work. Erease unnecessary one. Then, the system will be working well. The dignity will be saved. You had better occupy your duties. Do not distract yourself. Your destination: WORK. It is your one and only challenge and desire.

Rubbish! Who would want to live like that? Who could? You will be surprised, I promise. You will be upset, astonished, confused... and maybe you will gain some knowledge about the things which have been any misteries to you to date. This is the most important issue, I think - getting out of this movie. Deriving cues.

The thread of love connects everything. It destroys the silence and the order. And it builds a new world. It creates a new reality. Do you think that in that utterly new world would be no place for a new order and a new silence? I cannot promise you that you will receive any answer. Everything depends on your sensitiveness. I believe in you. As much as I believe in love.

8 nominations. 0 awards. Starring: Emma Thompson, Anthony Hopkins. Director: James Ivory. Music by: Richard Robbins.
